A bit of heavy pinning was required to repair some broken pegs and to add support to the connector to the shoulder mount.
Primer is applied in both gray for the Binder's outer armor and black for a few pieces that will be a dark chrome later.
First color to be applied is metallic pearl white with some black pre-shade.
Next, all armor parts get the normal green. A bit of masking and some dark green is applied. Some more masking and the last of the green shades is applied.
To finish the armor, pre-shade and a metal finish is added.
Now, the inside of the armor is painted. Starting with a white base and some pre-shade.
The middle sections where the funnels will sit is colored bronze. The lower end get light gold. And the upper end gets bright silver.
The finished color scheme looks like this. It actually looks really weird.
The boosters, cannons and funnels get painted next. The boosters are half in silver and half in metallic white with the inside red and the ends of the booster in light gold.
The cannons are in metallic white with the insides and edge in light gold.
The funnels first get a very light green followed with a metallic green finish.
With all the colors done, some detailing gets done. First, some extra colors are added to the armor. Then some initial detailing on the insides.
The inside of the Binders have so much details, I had to paint them in stages. The final result got me this. And a before and after at the bottom.
Having finished the detailing for the inside, panel lines and decals get done.
Now for the assembly, beginning with the arms.
The funnels and boosters get installed on the inside.
The insides then gets installed on the armor pieces.
The cannons then get installed between the armor parts and the Binders are complete.
I will cut this post short and show more images of the Binders in the Kshatriya's completed gallery.
