Resin Kit: 1/7 Kan'u Unchou - Unboxing And Dryfit Build

After finishing the painting of my 1/8 Nami P.O.P. Sailing Again Resin Kit, I now start work on my 1/7 Kan'u Unchou resin figure. The kits, like Nami, was bought from E2046.

The box is small and compact but the contents are well protected inside. It comes with a single picture of the finished kit and a parts list. It doesn't show how to put the kit together, so I have to figure that out.

The kit comes in one parts bag and several individually wrapped parts.

The kits consists of 19 resin parts and a plastic rod (which is not in the picture), that serves as the handle of the Green Dragon Crescent Blade. The kit also comes with a base.

Kan'u's ahoge, which is very thin, is protected further by being taped onto a piece of cardboard.

Pour plugs for the kit are of decent size though a few of them are in locations that are very visible and will require careful removal.

Casting is very good and clean with only a few air bubbles and flash. One part I'm a little concerned with would be her cleavage.

After removing the pour plugs and cleaning up the flash, a quick dry fitting.

Next I can go on to painting.
