Painting: 1/100 Kshatriya Resin Kit - Legs and Feet

After finishing the waist of the Kshatriya and two resin figure, Tsukikage and Kanu Unchou, I now continue with the legs of the 1/100 Kshatriya.

A quick shot of gray primer followed by some masking for the white sections. Some pre-shade is added then finished with metallic pearl white.

The inserts for the thrusters are yellow and finished with a light gold paint.

Next are the green sections. They are all sprayed with the regular green color then masked to apply the two other shades of green. Some pre-shading is applied afterwards and the metallic green finish to complete the green sections.

After the green, the metallic silver sections get painted.

Followed by a coat of clear gloss.

Details, panel lines and decals are added next.

Since the Kshatriya will ultimately be just a static kit, I decided to make a base for it using a pair of Action Base 1s used for 1/100 Gunpla kits. I added a few detail colors to match the Kshatriya's detailed paint job.

Assembly of the Kshatriya's legs starts with the foot. The thighs are connected to the hip joint before connected to the lower leg assembly.

I have previously chosen a pose for the Kshatriya on the base, so rods are already placed on the base where the feet will be connected.

After some tinkering with the position of the legs, the upper body is now connected to the leg.

And here's a preview of the next sections I will be painting; the arms.
