WIP: MG The O (Part 4) - The Waist and Weapons

After finishing the legs from last time, all that's left now is the waist section and weapons to complete The O.

The O's waist inner frame is made up of just four pieces. The ball that connects the waist to the thighs are on a hinge that allows the legs to swing forward.

The waist also has pipping that wrap around the waist. The are composed of individual pieces that move independently unlike the ones used on the legs.

Due to The O's large waist size, the piping is composed of 22 "beads" per side.

The O's front skirt is a simple two piece assembly with three thrusters. The inside is also nicely detailed.

But The O has one feature that only it has. There are arms hidden under the front skirt.

Once installed, they tuck in neatly under The O's front skirt and extend out the same length of the skirt.

To hold the skirt in place we have a nice simple crotch armor.

Because of the arms hidden under the front skirt, the crotch armor of The O does not stick out like other kits do.

After securing the front skirt on to the waist, Th O's huge back skirt is next.

The O uses a single pieces back skirt that is twice as long as the front skirt and is as wide as the front skirts and crotch put together. The bottom of the back skirt is also very nicely detailed.

Following the back skirt are the side skirts. Again, simple assembly. Two pieces, that's it.

Adding the side skirt to the waist completes the waist section.

And attaching the legs to the waist completes The O's lower body

Now that is one massive lower body.

Before completing the whole kit, the weapons need assembly first.

Just like the weapons from other kits, The rifle is just two halves put together with some additional details. The beam sabers are also two parts; the handle and the beam holder.

After assembling the weapons, The O's upper body is attached on top of the lower body and we get this.

One mean, massive and beefy kit. I will post a review of the kit later and add more photos of the completed kit.
